To all Mothers,
mothers who are, &
mothers to be...
even dads whom had to play the roll of a mother...
But
first and far most...
To
my beloved
Archangel... Mom

Happy he
is
with such a mother!
Faith in womankind beats with his blood,
and trust in all things high
to him is no dud,
and though he trip and fall someday,
he shall not blind his soul with mud nor
clay.

"In the dark womb where I began
my mother's life made me a man.
Through all the months of human birth
her beauty fed my common earth."

So many paths that wind and wind...
so many gods, and so many creeds
when just the art of being kind
is all this sad world truly needs;
Lessons that my mother taught,
may God bless her, and her deeds.

Past and present...
you gave me love,
you taught me love...
You shared with me joy,
you made me a wiser man
out of a cute baby boy!
****
Even when life raged and roared,
your upbringing made me smartly think...
"It is not the ship in the water but the
water in the ship that makes it sink"
****
Many lessons from you I learned,
but a few of the most precious I dare to
here share,
and a few words afterwards I will continue to
bare:
"I never knew a night so black
light has failed to follow on its track.
I never knew a storm so grey,
it failed to have its clearing day.
I never knew such bleak despair,
that there was not a rift somewhere.
I never knew an hour so drear,
love could not fill it full of cheer.
Where there is an open mind,
there will always be a frontier.
Life is hard, by the yard;
but by the inch, life's a cinch!"

heard, written and even read...
But solemnly valued in success or ruin:
after God,
behind all great men are always great women.

It could not be any more pretty,
for praise, like gold and diamonds
owes its value to its scarcity
My eternal praise and love goes to
you Mom;
and to all of you special moms: I
humbly bow my head.
